Unwanted solicitation is tantamount to outbound telemarketing after notice to cease calling and there are fines that can be levied if complaints are validated.

These ppl call my home everyday (including sundays) between 8-14 times a day. They s**** @ 8:30am to as late as 9:15pm. I have asked them to notify me in writing from this point forward (few weeks ago) and they flat out told me no. the calls will continue to come. If I'm not mistaken, they are calling for $40.00 for a store credit card. I have the money, but after they told me no and continue to harass me, it's the point now. I just wish I could sue so their $40.00 costs them $4000.00.

Call came in on my 15-year-old son's cellphone just now. He definitely does not have a Kohl's charge card (or any other charge card). He's also had the cellphone for over a year but hasn't received this call before. Since we didn't recognize the number, we let it go to voicemail, but there was no message.P.S. For the record, Kohl's corporate numbers are 262-703-****, not 262-793-****, so this did apparently come from within their organization.

No, my name is not really Bub. I have been getting calls from this number as well and have never had a Kohl's card or applied for a job there. I think I shopped there once or twice. I called their toll free number and they said my number didn't come up on any accounts but that they would remove the number from the call list. The operator seemed REALLY ****** like she was a 16 year old blond valley girl. At first she tried to tell me that their calls don't usually come from that number. Then she backtracked and had to talk to her supervisor. When she took my number I had to repeat it about 12 times. I definitely won't be shopping there a***n.

I mean, honestly, what's the point with the obsessive phone calling and no message? Some of my phones don't have caller ID, so calling is a lost cause, and if you don't leave a message it's like you never called... I've told them numerous times, it's useless.... I HAVE NO MONEY, HENCE CAN'T PAY THE BILL!! I'LL CALL YOU WHEN I CAN PAY!! here is how to handle these called. I received these calls over and over because I was late on my Kohls payment. As soon as you make the payment the calls go away. But just in case I have another late payment in the future (could happen!)
