I got a call many months ago. They used to call days in a row and multiple times a day. They would call from PC DOCTOR or COMPUTER DOCTOR. They would say my computers had a virus and that they needed remote access (they didn't say that specifically but I know computers well enough that I know thats what they were doing) It stopped but then recently - March 21 I got a call from a middle eastern man who identified himself as Rick Williams. I would not get on here and lie. He began to tell me that he had the call on mute and spoke very personal things such as "I love you, you are beautiful, you are righteous and holy" As well as other things. He then proceeded to ask for my facebook information and more about myself. I of course did not give it to him and said I didn't have a facebook but yes****ay he found and hacked my facebook and began commenting on photos. I have proof and my activity shows a login from a random place in the US where I don't live/never traveled. I tried to press him for more information about his company or self in order to report him. But I am unaware if any of that information is legitimate. Here's the info I got: Rick Williams. Fresno California. Age 22 Roman Catholic. His favorite food involves any kind of Chicken. I know this doesnt sound serious but I was trying to get him talking about anything or everything in effort to catch realistic facts.

yes, these people are claiming to be from Microsoft and have called me several times. I JUST received another one informing me about this terrible virus on my computer and that he needs remote access to remove it... I patiently listened to his line and then explained that i am currently enrolled in college for computer science and i know hes full of bs. I then told him that 1 he needs to get his script perfected because i could barely understand him with his heavy middle eastern accent and 2 i wouldnt give him that information even if there WAS a problem with my computer.. i got a VERY clear f*** you from him!! hahaha! PLEASE people, do not give these a***oles ANY information!! they want access to your system so they can ADD viruses, malware or spyware ;)

Received a call saying person was from Microsoft, and I had a virus which would crash my computer in next few hours. Was told that they needed remote access to my computer to fix this issue. I have been playing with and building computers for more years then my mind can remember, and it took less them 60 seconds to realize what this really was. NEVER allow a random caller to ***n remote access to your computer, unless you want to give them any personal information including banking/financial information you have on it. Unless you want to be a victim of IDEN***Y THEFT. It only takes them moments to put spyware and keyloggers on to your computer.

Scammers with heavy accent wanted access to my computer said his name was Rulon Mathew and he was from the windows operating systems tech department. My computer was generating virus alerts. Very had to understand, had someone else talk with me. I told him I didn't know anything about the computer and would have to have my sister help them. They said they would call the same time tomorrow - but wouldn't give me a number to call them back. He was very insistent that there was nothing to worry about. I didn't help him & since I found a lot of information about this phone number - Scammers.

Called in saying he was with some company who monitors the internet and that my laptop had been downloading virus infected files. Said they could tell by the CLSID and MAC address, They made one big mistake. I have been building, repairing, upgrading, and networking PCs for over 20 years. I asked him a dozen or so questions, and he couldn't answer any of them, including what the MAC address of the computer they were monitoring was.... The guy had a heavy Indian accent. I told him that one more call and I would contact the District Attorney for his area...

They are telemarketers. I answered the phone once a few weeks ago (I was at a phone where the caller id doesn't show, or I would NEVER have answered it.) The caller was a man with a thick foreign accent. He said he was from Microsoft and my computer had been sending them error messages. He wanted me to open my computer so he could "fix" it for me online. I ***g up on him. We are getting calls from these people every other day. Fraudster called a***n early this morning. 8:27 a.m. They never leave a message.

Guy with heavy Indian accent called with a lot of noise in the background. He asked how I was doing and I asked whether this *** important because I *** in the middle of dinner. He said it was important because he was getting a bunch of errors from my "Microsoft Windows computer. " I asked which computer. He said "the computer you are using. " I a***n asked which one several times until he said "your Microsoft Windows 7 computer. " My PC isn't running Windows 7, so I said thank you, called him an obnoxious ***** and ***g up.

these people are claiming to be from Microsoft and have called me several times. I JUST received another one informing me about this terrible virus on my computer and that he needs remote access to remove it, asking for private/sensitive information. This is a fraudulent operation. Phone number originating out of the Auburn, Washington area. Do be wary that if they've called you, that they have you computer's CLISD (license ID) from a website that you may have clicked on. These guys, although terrible with their script, are****entially dangerous with technology know how. Be aware.

Two men with heavy Iranian accents (couldn't catch one name, Aleksander was the other) said they were from Microsoft and they told me I had malware on my pc and if I turned it on they would help me. I told them I did not believe them and to take me off their list. They continued to argue with me and I said to leave me alone or else I'd call the police. They said "I'm going to f**k you and f**k you in the a**." I ***g up and called the police.

I just rec'd a call from this # 253-802-0308, on 5/8/13 @1:50 pm, Pac. time. My caller ID read that the call was from Fraudster with the aforementioned phone number. I did not recognize the #, so I pushed 'talk' + 'mute' & heard a female's voice, saying "hello,*****o", then ***g up. I got on my computer to look up the # and here I am. My phone # is registered with the Do Not Call Registry.

Caller ID showed as 2097534814 but the actual number was the (253) 802-0309. The Indian man knew my name, when I asked who was calling, he said the shipping dept of some company, I s****ed laughing b/c I thought it was a friend playing a joke... He then said " Didn't I do a good job?" Then said "I'm sorry for the call have a good bye" or so****ing like that.... Very strange...

Received a call from this # PLUS five zeros on the end of it. Caller ID said Djibouti, which is a place in Africa, however the regular number minus five zeros is in Washington USA. I didn't answer. I cuss out enough people I actually know, I don't need to swear at people who can't understand English well enough to give me props on my awesome choice of words.

Just got a call from a person telling us our computer has a virus on it. He wouldn't give his name. Kept saying that if I log onto my computer now he could fix it for me. Was very persistant. Had an Indian accent. Also said that Microsoft computer software was hacked last week and they were calling to help fix it. I'm notifying Microsoft.

The same; he sounds a kind of Arabian guy and I though he was a camel trader but he pretends being from Microsoft and I have pretended being seated in front of my pc which I don't have... They try to make you believe your PC is downloading some software and that they are able to help
