The individual stated to email them and to NOT respond to their phone number as they are at work. Additionally, no kijiji message so you can’t see their profile reviews (since it’s a scam). Insanely persistent on cheque only or money order (which will bounce) and that their carrier agent will pick up the parcel. They couldn’t ‘make it’ because of their work schedule. Denied e-transfer.

Text message in response to a Kijiji ad about my tires for sale. Same as all the other complaints, agreeing to asking price, a 3rd party will pick up at my convince and will send a Certified Chq or Money order. Its clearly a scammer.

Wanted to initially if my tires listed on Kijiji were still for sale & the price. Asked me to reply via email. After I replied ,sent me an email agreeing to the price. Would pay by certified cheque & asked for full name, address & cell number. Would send a courier to pick up tires after I had received monies.He could not personally pick up merchandise
