I went online to look for health insurance in mid- December. When I asked them to remove from their calling list, because I found insurance a rep told me ok. Now everyday they keep calling me I mean EVERY FREAKING DAY LIKE IT IS A GAME TO THEM OR SO****ING!!!! I called the number back and the recording asked me to press on to be put on the DO NOT CALL list and it takes up to 24 hours and it has been three weeks of calling everyday. I will be filing a complaint with the National DO NOT CALL Registry today. I am very annoyed with this company. I may also contact a lawyer.

Called the texas company they have sold there services in Washington State. Called Washington State Commerce Commision there are resear****g and will get back with me. I call Integra Telecom and they would not give any information out but here is their phone number (206)2421400. Call that number and help to stop this person from harrasing others. If you are getting these calls from PACIFICTEL .... the company that is hosting them is Eschelon Telecom Inc in Yakima, Washington (wa) Name: Eschelon Telecom Inc Street: 15 West Yakima Avenue Yakima, wa 98902-3471 Phone: (509) 853-4000 This is the carrier for the caller 253 246 8573 call their office ... they will tell you that they have no control of what their clients do.. but at the end of the call i gave them my phone number and they said they would forward it and have it put on the do not call (DNC) list... FIGURE I WILL CALL THEM AS OFTEN AS THEY CALLED ME AND SEE HOW THEY LIKE GETTING THE CALLS.. AM GUESSING IF THEY GET THE CALLS AS OFTEN AS 'THEIR CLIENTS' MAKE THEM MAYBE THEY WILL S**** TO GET THE IDEA OF HOW ANNOYING THEY ARE AND DO SO****ING ABOUT IT.... Good Luck... If you receive a number you don’t want to ring on your cell phone, try this. 1. Create a contact group called say “Trash Calls” 2. If possible create a voice recorded audio that you can set as a ringtone, 1 second of blank audio, call it “Trash Ring” 3. Take the number you received the call from and add it to your contacts. I call my “ZTrash1”, “ZTrash2” etc. for each call you don’t want to ring and answer in the future. 4. Assign the call number ringtone to “Trash Ring” and give each number a name of “Z------“. The “Z......” will put it at the bottom of you contacts so you won’t have them in the middle of your listing. 5. Adjust the volume of the ringtone for the annoying call to the lowest setting. If they call your number a***n, you won’t hear it ring and if you see it being displayed, you know not to answer it when you see “ZTrash1”.

I s****ed conversation with him but when he realized that I was *****ing with him he ***g up. I have done it before to them and they keep calling. I hoped that it would have annoyed them as much as it does me and stop calling. next time I plan to tell them that I have traced their call and I am with law enforcement and citations will be issued to all persons involved with making calls and they will be fined & required to go to court. it takes a ****** person to work at a place like this so they may fall for it or at least take my number off their list.

In spite of numerous requests to be put on the do not call list, this company keeps calling me. Most of the time there's nothing on the other end. One time a lady told me she was calling from Amazon.com to find out if I was interested in putting their ads on my website. Don't know what it really is, but it has to be a scam. Perhaps by answering this call they get information out of your phone, which they then sell? Can't think of any other purpose, since there's either no-one on the other side or they have some bogus marketing pitch.

I answered, it took a awhile before they came on line (suspect they are using a robodialer) and "Anthony" said he was a LOCAL contractor that we'd talked before about them doing some work on the house (needless to say, I have no recollection of this). I asked for his contractor number and he said he'd bring it when he comes to look at the job... (yeah, right). I said I had to go out and could I call back; he gave me a callback number (also in WA) - clearly not "local" to Long Beach, CA!

I have a ***nd new phone and number. I went in and set my phone settings to reject any unknown callerd. If a number isn't in my phone book, then it gets rejected. Try it. You have to be carefull, some phone companies sell your number to marketing companies. The pre-paids are very bad about this as well as magic Jack types of phones, that's how they provide such a service so cheap.

Based on the carrier info above and an internet search I ended up with Integra Telecom as a company that once "owned" this number - they took over Eschelon. However, this number, according to the agent, is now under Pacific Telecom Communications - in other words, that company gets paid by the person who uses this number. I am going to call them now and see what I can figure out.
