caller id: 253 246 8553 NEW A CO Called several times without leaving a message when I'm trying to sleep after being up all night as a parent. I got angry and answered asking who's calling several times. Could be automated. Said company named "Home Protection" wants to install security system and put a sign on property to market local area. I asked for a website and it said that would be a good question for a specialist to call back and answer and I'll schedule someone to call you so I said no, remove this number from your call list. The voice immediately said I'm sorry and so****ing like we won't call you a***n or so****ing at which i ***g up. If this is automated, the magic federal compliance imperative voice command must be, "REMOVE THIS NUMBER FROM YOUR CALL LIST".

I have to say, one of the best things about our T-Mobile / Android phone is the AutoReject List. (Not sure whether or not that is a feature on most phones.) I get these calls all the time. If it is unknown, I do a quick search, usually ending up here or on another similar resource site. Once I confirm that the number is junk, I add it to my AutoReject List. No more calls. Well... not exactly. They still call. But instead of a ring or a voicemail, I get a silent notification of a "missed" call. Just got another "missed" call from the number above. It's a beautiful thing.

They call both my business, home, and cell phones. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. I have blocked their calls on my land lines and do not answer on my cell. They claim they want to give me a free home security system if i will just allow them to put one of their signs in my yard.....like I'm going to trust these people in my house to install an alarm system...I don't think so! I don't know whether it was a 'live' voice or a computer, I didn't wait around long enough to find out.

They called me a***n today after I have told them several times to stop. I am in radiation treatment for ****** cancer and told them this. They insisted on continuing with their rant. I asked for the callers name and he said it was "Tom". I told him I was recording our conversation and he ***g up. I am recording their calls and I am turning the recordings over to law enforcement. I have a close relative in law enforcement and that person will be handling this for me.

It's a security company soliciting a free alarm system for "allowing" them to place a yard sign on your property. If you answer the call, a realistic telephony router will explain the promotion and ask if you're interested along with a couple of other questions. If you agree, you'll be forwarded to a real person. I told the real person to take me off their call list. Previous attempts to remove my number from their list using their automated system were unsuccessful. Time will tell if this ****od will work.

I told them I wasn't interested and to take me off the list. He kept trying to sell, I told him i already had a unit and to take me off the list. He said okay and have a nice day. Hopefully that is the last time I hear from Tom.

I just received a call from this number on my Tmobile G4 phone. I answered, thinking it might be my daughter who is out of the country. My answer did not go through (call seemed to drop). I googled the number and when I saw these posts, I added the number (to the others I've received from other numbers) to my Reject list. If you have a Reject list option on your cell phone, that is really helpful.

I answer the call and there is a very long pause after which an automated voice s****s speaking or the line simply disconnects. Shows up on the caller ID as 'Pacifictel.'
