Telling him you don't own your home or you already have a security system also does not work, it will call you back anyway. I got connected to a live technician once. This person called me a few minutes ago, and after I googled the number I realized it was a telemarketer. I never call them back because I don't want them to have my number permanently in their system. From what I could see, it looks like they are coming from someone named Tom, and he is trying to sell people a security system. When I answered he ***g up, or the connection was lost. He called my cell phone. If you have Verizon you can block up to 5 phone numbers from calling your cell phone, so if this is a problem for some of you, you may think of doing that. I'm****uming other phone carriers have similar services. I blocked this number on Verizon's website, so I don't expect another call from him.
