These numbers in my opinion that are calling thru robot calls or any other means need to be looked at deeper in depth. It could be possible that they are being done to generate a herd of people to look up the number on line in which they can get your IP address as well as have all kinds of cookies that follow you on the internet which these type companies then generate a bundle of monies due from click ads etc. Wonder how these companies would stay in business if you quit resear****g numbers? probably go out of business. SPAM! What I did was create a new contact on my phone named "SPAM." I****igned my 10 #s I routinely get spam calls from & then****igned a separate ringtone to it. That way, I don't even have to LOOK at the dang phone to know it's a call I don't want to answer. I WISH AT&T would allow a blocking function, but they don't . . . so this is the best I could come up with. Better than nothing....
