These guys always s**** with repeated and non stop phone calls. This will go on for 4-6 weeks. I just read where they have several offices throughout the US, Dallas, Ne***ska, New York, Washington DC, Chicago etc. They do have a website, Allied International Collection Agencylinksnotallowed. I don't think they're the same as Allied Interstate Collection Agency, but until I receive their bill, I won't know. In my letter sample below, I used the Ne***ska address. Your demand letter/statement will probably come from the Dallas, Ne***ska or Chicago office. I don't know, they just s****ed calling me today. Please continue reading for a sample letter you can type and send them!!! Debt Collectors – Collection Agency's do NOT fall under Do NOT Call registry, as they are not telemarketers. However, they do constantly violate other Federal Laws, because us American's don't know the laws to protect us. They are counting on that. - Federal Law says you don't have an obligation to Collection Agencies or Debt Collectors; you can send them a written letter and they cannot contact you after that. This includes Attorney's in state's other than your state of residence. The only Attorney's that can sue you, have to be licensed in your resident state. A word of caution: Some Law Firms do have Firms in other states, and Lawyers licensed in other states, so you have to do a little research before sending a Cease & Desist (Do Not Call & Go Away letter) to make sure they aren't in your resident state or you're likely to get sued by these #%#&*@!#%&@$^*. Once a debt collector makes contact with you, they also have to contact you within 5 days after the first phone call, letter etc., and give you validation/proof or judgment of the debt. You are not required to ask for it. They never do this!!!! This law is known as the Fair Debt Collector Practices Act. You can get it at FTC.gov; as well as other Consumer Protection Laws. Most collection agencies, purchase your delinquent debt for pennies on the dollar. Guess what? It is no longer your debt!!! You don't have any agreement/contract with the debt collector or collection agency. Your only agreement/contract was with the original creditor. Do NOT agree to any payment arrangements, or you'll be creating an agreement/contract, where upon initial contact by the Debt Collector, one didn't exist. The collection agencies are counting on you not knowing this little bit of information. The best advice I can give you is, do NOT talk to these idiots - they will leave you in a frustrated heap on the floor. They lie, and will tell you whatever they need, in order to get you to commit to paying them. The lies are illegal, but they honestly don't care, they're probably on commission for how much they collect from you and others like you. If you do answer the phone, do NOT give out your employer, social security #, DL #, Credit Card and/or Bank information, or any personal information. Tell them to send you a written statement & you'll respond. Then **** up. When you get that statement, google, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and you'll probably find a letter you can send them Or: send the letter I’ve enclosed that I use. I keep getting calls from this number too. Unknown Caller from this number. Never leaves a message on my answering ma****e. When my answering ma****e comes on and says to leave a message, it/they **** up. It's probably a computer. On another site, one person said they called the police about this, and the police said it was a known scam to get your social security card number by claiming you owned money to a company and they where a debut collection agency. I never pick up, for any calls that I don't recognize and if they won't leave a message, I pretty much figure there is so****ing wrong with the caller. If they continue calling, I just use *60 to block them from ever calling a***n. Any legitimate caller would leave a message, but scam artist don't want to leave much of a record of what they are doing. A recorded message from them, can be used a***nst them in a court of law.

Allied International/Allied Interstate calls my home asking for nine (count them, 9) different people. We just happen to have a common last name as MANY people in this area, so they are making cold calls hoping to get a bite. "Oh yea, that's my cousin, let me give you his number"...yea right! I know NONE of the people they are looking for. You think that's bad enough? They call EVERY day, all day long. And if even THAT is not bad enough, there is a cease and desist order in their file a***nst them calling my number. Do you think they care. They break the law ALL the time. They actually think they are above the law! Anyway, here's their attorney's information, and I encourage ALL here to call him, as I have done: Kurt Tullar, Esq. Vice President, Legal iQor, Inc. Got a call from this number. Spoke too fast to get the toll free number. They said they were a debt collection group (Allied), but I have no outstanding debts-I pay my bills every month on time and in full. I tried to call the number back to get the toll free number and call could not be completed---I believe it is a scam, they are probably trying to get people to call the 800 # to rip them off somehow. Don't trust these people!!

Female recording wants to talk about a debt and to call a 800 number. Says number so fast can't get it. May not be a good idea to call back from your own phone as not knowing where it may connect you to for outrageous billing. If really wanting to call perhaps from public phone.

They called 6 times, just today. When I answer, no one answers. When the answering ma****e gets it, they don't leave a message. We don't have any debt so I have no idea what's going on or why they call us today, out of the blue, 6 times. When I call the number back, it says my call cannot be completed as dialed. VERY strange.
(253) 218-3451 - July 24th, 2008 10:34pm
I was called today, but didn't recognize the number and did a google search on it. Looks like a lot of folks are getting harassed by these idiots - that's how I ended up here. I have no debt so I'm****uming it is some sort of phishing scam to obtain personal info. I'm looking forward to the day this type of harassment stops!
