We continue to receive calls from this number daily...they never leave a message, and when we answer...no one there. We too are on the "Do not call" list...does not do a **** bit of good! I refuse to answer anymore...only answer if I know who it is...thank heavens for caller ID. But it drives us crazy anyway!!!

caller states that they are doing a survey. Stated do not want to parti****te and ask them not to call anymore but the call keep coming. Last caller name was Ann Carter. Have stated to caller we are on a don't call list and also told them that because they have been told not to call that they are breaking Illinois state law by continueing to call back and that did not stop them.

This number called my phone number which has been put on the NO CALL LIST 3 times. I hope this gets to the Government FCC for your failing to respect the No Call List request. I will call the FCC and inform them in addition to this complaint.

They called me just before 9:00pm like telemarketers are allowed..Said was John Rodriguez with a Mexican Oops Hispanic accent. John wanted to do just a survey about radio stations in my area. Asked me all sorts of questions about Call Station letters, DJ's and music played on these stations. Had nothing better to do so I did the survey. When he orginally called he asked for me by first and last name. I never verified who I was but said would take the survey. After all the questions he asked me to verify my first and last name and my home phone for his supervior. I told "John" I'm not verifing anything and he thanked me for my time. I've had other calls such as these and they are not on the telemarketers list of "DO NOT CALL" they are not selling. These call are usually outside survey companies that are hired by cell phone companies to see if you still have a land line or not. They really do use the information for research and are not bounded by any laws unfortnately. However, if yo do ask them to stop calling and they don't contact your local phone company and if you keep logs after the third call the phone company will file harrassment charges on your behalf. The phone company has you use some *** number. Just contact them if you're that interested. Hope this helps!!! TRUST ME IT ****ES ME OFF TOO!!!!! These ****s have been calling me constantly - never leaving a message. I have reported each and every call to the DO NOT CALL web-site and am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In frustration I answered their call last month and told them I didn't want to buy anything or answer any questions and to stop calling me. This seemed to make them call more often. Then I answered another call from them and yelled at them to stop harassing me and I had been reported every call to the FTC and a snoty woman told me they were a research center and the DO NOT CALL LIST didn't apply to them. Bulls--t! So after that they have been calling me 2 or 3 times a week 2 or 3 times a day. I just let the answer ma****e pick up and never speak to them. I'll let you know what the BBB does with my complaint.

I got a call last night at 10:25pm!!! I was in bed and almost asleep. When the phone rings at that time of the night, you think it's a family emergency, so you just answer it without even checking the caller id (not to mention I couldn't read it anyway without my gl***** ... and in the dark no less!). When the caller said she was from a research center, I asked her if she knew what time it was where she was calling and she said "I do apologize for the inconvenience ..." I cut her off and said, "I don't accept your apology; GOOD NIGHT!" I've sent an email to [email protected] telling them that if it happens a***n, I will research my legal options. We'll see how that goes!

Your calls are what are called "Ghost calls" generated by a computer by a certain company (telemarketers) to determine the time of day you are home. The FCC allows such calls and every time you answer the phone a log is kept for future sales calls. The computer is able to generate ***dreds of calls per minute and if a sales rep is not available, under FCC regulations, they have to **** up. They are not allowed to tie up you lines incase of emergancy. The best thing to do is not answer. The answering ma****g keeps the computer on line longer and generates a larger phone bill for the *******s.

Kyle Smith was the manager I spoke to when they called me. I got their call at 9:42 PM on 5/1/08! I am currently writing the FCC to complain about them. I got him to admit the company name was "Mountain West Research". They call several times a week, but this is the first time it was after 9:00 PM.I swear if I knew where they were right now I'd be driving there tonight! Please, someone, post the address of this call center in Michigan. I am in Ne***ska but I'd love to pay Kyle a surprise visit and this trip would be worth the gas money!

I have rec'd several calls from this number, they leave no address and when I did answer-there was no response. They just called a***n tonight and it is 11 PM. I usually****ociate late night calls with an emergency so I make an effort to get to the phone to answer it - no one there! Just caller id of Research Center.

This time I answered the phone - when I did they identified themselves as a "Research Survey" business. I told them I was on the national no-call list and they ***g up. Very annoying!!

Apparently, this group, company, or whatever-it-is is calling from Fremont,MI.This is about a dozen or so miles West of Lake Michigan, the other side of the state than Detroit,MI.I would suspect that the callers might be foreign-based, although since ***ody left a message, I would NOT just****ume that this "Research Center" is a front for some questionable Middle Eastern group.

They usually claim they are doing research surveys. One claimed she was****ociated Press, but her caller ID name said "unavailable".

Caller ID identified the number 231-224-2032 as "Research Center". There was no indication of a human on the call, howerever, there were two or three beep tones that very very short. I said "Hello" several times and there was no repsonse.
