Same overseas (India) scam telemarketer ID theft group, this call claimed to be the fraud dept. of my debit card, claiming a large purchase was made for a laptop on my account. He then asked me to “verify” my card number, although no bank name was mentioned. I told him to stop calling or else I would keep *****ing with them and blacklist the numbers they use.

They say they are a collection Agency Aviva Billing, which does exist, but they keep saying I owe them money for medical tests I from 2021-2023. I unknowingly believed them and paid them at least $2,000. One of the last calls I received from them said that I owed $500, but if I paid $300 they would closed my account. However, they kept calling and said I owed on another invoice for another $547. I called my Health Care Provider and they said my account is current and I owe them nothing. By M Battista
