I got a message saying that I was a finalist in the Cool Car Cold Cash Giveaway.  I had either won a 2009 Lincoln Navigator, Cash (I think it was $25,000.00), a vacation trip to Mexico, or a 32" flat screen TV.  I called back to the following phone number: 1-888-923-1327, and spoke to a woman named Georgia.  I was to report to an office building in my area at 6pm that evening where myself and the 3 other finalists would be given scratch tickets to see which prize we would be leaving with.  They needed me to bring 2 forms of I.D.: a driver's license and a major credit card.  I don't have credit cards, so I was told that I had to forfeit to a runner up.  I was also told that I needed to have an income of at least $55,000.00 a year in order to "qualify".  (I don't make anywhere near that amount.) I asked why, and I was told that they want to make sure that I would be able to afford the taxes and insurance on the vehicle if that is what I won. Plus, I would be responsible for all taxes on other prizes also.  I'm glad I did a little research before going further!

Received a call at 8:10 this morning while i wasn't home from this number.  A message was left from a woman named Marcia stating that I was a finalist in the Cool Car Cold Cash giveaway contest that I entered in December.  She said that I needed to call her back at 888-923-1327 and verify my information within 48 hours or my prize would be forfeited to the runner-up.  Neither my spouse nor I remember entering any such contest.  In addition, we just moved in February to another part of the country, so we couldn't have entered a contest in Dec. with our current phone number.  Given the other posts I've read about this Cool Car contest (from different phone numbers, however), I won't be calling them back.

Caller "Marcia" indicated that I had entered a contest several months ago--Cool Car Cold Cash--that they had sent the do***ents notifying me of my winning status some time ago and that I had not yet returned the do***ents.  Her call was to notify me that I had 48 hours to contact them at 888-923-1327 in order to claim my prize/respond in accordance with the contest rules or that the prize would be forfeited to the runner-up.  I did not recall entering such a contest and when I did a search on the return number I came across a number of reports of the same "contest" offering just using different callers and phone numbers.  I decided not to return the call.

At 8:11 AM I get a message from a Marcia saying she's calling about my entry form in a Cool Car Cold Cash giveaway. I was actually excited because I have  entered a couple of contests but I became wary when they said I entered six weeks ago, and I really did not recall any contest named Cool Car Cold Cash. So I decided to Google the contest name, and I found this website and many posts about how this is a scam. I didn't call back.

First call from this number ...... caller marked the message urgent A female came online and said I was picked as a finalist in some contest I had entered in December(I have never entered any contest)and I was picked as one of 5 finalist left a 1-888 number that I didnt copy down to call back and get my prizes

This the fourth day in a row that we've received a call from 219-923-2883 with caller ID "Prize Claim Center".  A lady apologizes that "sorry, wrong number".  When trying to call back its constantly busy.  I reported to Verizon "unlawful phone calls" division and asked that it be investigated further.

I received 2 of the same recorded messages from Marsha about entering a CoolCar Cold Cash contest last December and that I had to call back within 48hrs to 888-923-1327.  So, I also googled the contest and found this website....I never returned the calls.

I didn't answer this but I saw the number on my caller id. It said it was a Prize Claim Center. They left no message but I don't recall entering any contest. Has anybody else had a call from them?

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS # ABOUT A SUV CADILAC ESCALATE CONTEST THEY SAID I HAVE TO GO WITH 2 FORMS OF ID TO FT LAUDERDALE TO CLAIM THE PRICE.

This person has called twice and keeps saying "I have the wrong number".  The caller ID says Prize Claim Ctr, but I think it's a cover for collections or so****ing.

Second time I've answered the phone with the caller ID display showing Prize Claim Center.  Both times a woman has said "Sorry, I must have the wrong number."
