Laptop warning of****ential threat. This number given as contact number for Windows/Microsoft (?) Support. Shouldn't it be a toll-free number in this situation? Do not trust enough to make a call. Did research on phone number instead. Surely BeenVerified could ID it if it was legit.

the person introduced themselves ad Marilyn beck stating that she was from Indeed.com job board. She was offering me a job position that was remotely from home and it sounded too good to be true. I'm not sure yet if its legitimate but they said they wanted to have a meeting via telegram.

Texting saying they wanted me to be on a video interview. Then asked if I'd use cell phone or laptop, I said laptop and I haven't heard anything else. Maybe trying to hack into phones?

I have received this number in several different scam emails allegedly sent by several different companies, including Microsoft. The scams come in with the usual "Thank you for your order" and showing a .jpg "receipt." No links and no attachments but these lines: "To make any c****es or cancellations to your order, please reach out to Microsoft Security's customer service. No-cost hotline +1 (217) 225 5219" When I enter the number into Number Guru, I get nothing.
