These scam artists have a so-called "60" people working the phones at Thomas Landis Law Office. The owner has a history, according to other posts. Don't be intimidated by these ****s and DON'T confirm or add to any information they present on the phone. Tell them that you DO NOT discuss these type of matters on the phone and to send you a letter. THE idiot will then say that they have already sent letters, etc.Tell them to remove your number or you will contact the Penn State Attorney's Office.....Don't let the receptionist transfer your call...because she will send you to a dead end extension. Tell her immediately to remove your number. (She will see the caller I.D.)Don't be ****** to fall for this ba*****t style collection agency scam....If they continue to harrass you....harrass them back !

My parents just received a call from this number and they left a message on my their answering ma****e. He said his name is Thomas and he works for Siler and****ociates. He left his # 1-877-543-6151 and a reference #. He requested that my parents tell me that he called and he needs to speak with me right away. The number on the caller ID was 1-215-526-2600. I am glad I looked this number up before I returned the call. Thanks for the previous insight.

I got a harrassing phone call from a Anthony Cross at this firm. He began asking me if I got a tax return, what my income status was and what my rent was. He said I owed an outlandish amount of money on a credit card. He asked how many personal cards I had current. I want a complaint filed with the Federal Trade Commission a***nst this Law Firm.

I got a phone call from a lady named Erin Baker caller Id read 215-526-2600 from the office of Attorney Tom Landon on 10/07/10 they said they had a business matter in there office left a reference number to call them back at 1-800-853-4000 best advice to you don't call them back! This is a total scam and can see how people get ****ed in to answering there questions. They said I owed 9,738.00 on a visa then s****ed questioning me on how long this would take to pay off and asked a bunch of personal questions. I know I do not owe any old debts so I just kept telling them I didn't know what they were talking about and after I had talked to three different people I finally just said look I am not paying any money on so****ing that is not mine and he said look I'm trying to call you ****** or anything but you don't even know how many visa's you have I know this bill is yours it was opened back in January of 94 I know your name and your soc# and he spatted of the last four digits and then he ***g up. Please help report these people!

I recieved a call from a Melissa Page of the Law Office of Tom Landis at 215-526-2600 tell me that I owe $1,800 in a car loan. Considering the only cars I have ever owned have been used that I have paid cash for I highly doubt I owe this. She kept trying to get my Social Security Number to verify my iden***y. I refused to give it. I told her to send me Office corrospondence by mail i which she said they have which is false. She got very rude and said they wont send anything I needed to take care of this matter now on the phone. I said stop calling and ***g up.

Please file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. They monitor the Fair Debt Collection Practices of which this firm is in total violation. I believe you can find the complaint form online. If inded this is a legal firm, you can also file a complaint a***nst "Tom Landis" with his local Bar****ociation. This form may also be online. These people can be stopped if enough consumers will file the appropriate complaint forms. I shudder to think of the number of senior citizens who have been frightened and intimidated into paying money they did not owe.

I received a phone call from this number, a very gentle-voiced person left a message from this atty office. It was so quiet I couldn't hear the number on the line to return the call. Do not waste your ti*****ese people are hired from companies that have purchased bad loans etc. They hire collection/attorney agency to collect the debt that was purchased for pennies on the dollar.To often the debt was already resolved or the records are innacurate.If you are concerned run a credit check on yourself and if it is free and clear report the abuse to the proper agency.
