This is a follow-up. Nothing I have tried has stopped this number from harassing me. I've downloaded Call Blocking apps, and although the number doesn't ring it still shows up in my Missed Calls List, which is just as annoying. I've tried having the number blocked via my service provider, but I believe that since it's a fake number, this doesn't work either. I've reported the number to the Do Not Call Registry, but a***n, since it's a fake number, I sincerely doubt anything will or can be done.There are patterns: They generally call between 10am and 3pm Central Time, although 11am through 1pm is the most frequent time frame.All of the voices have a strong Indian accent. Whenever it's a female voice, as soon as I say that I'm not the person she's asking for, she acts like she can't hear me. It never fails; it's practically clockwork: she always says "Helloooo? Hellooooo?" (always twice like that) and then ****s up while I'm trying to explain the situation.There have been two male voices, although I've only heard one of them once. The other, when he doesn't just **** up on me before I can explain, he will say "thank you" immediately after I've tried in vain to explain, and then ****s up.The second male voice actually said they would remove the number (this was around call number 25, so I was floored to hear it!). But, of course, it was a lie, because although it did stop for the rest of that day and the next, it s****ed right back up the day after.This all, of course, is when someone would actually answer.As of now I've received over 30 calls from them. And I still don't know for sure who they are, or if they're really from this Quick Loans place. It's incessant, and I feel totally powerless to do anything about it. I'm completely fed-up and frustrated, so I'm seriously considering c****ing my phone number. I've lost all hope in stopping them so it's the only thing left I can do.

This number has been calling me two or three times a day for almost a week, although it did pause during the weekend but picked up a***n Monday. Today however has been the worse, with a (so far) record of seven times.Sometimes no one answers, and sometimes they ask for the name of the guy who had my number before me (I used to get a LOT of calls for him in the first year of having this number, but I've had this number for nearly two years now and they're the first to ask for him in awhile). When I try to explain that this is no longer his number, they **** up on me before I can finish, or before I can ask that they remove my number from their call list or even find out who they are. And then, lo and behold, a half-hour or couple of hours later, they call a***n.Upon doing a search and finding this website, I saw someone mentioned QXL Quick Loans. This is the sort of thing that the person who had my number before me was always signing up for; I can't begin to count how many companies I've had to tell that my number is no longer his number, so I wasn't totally surprised. I visited the QXL website and found their phone number (obviously different from the bothersome one), and tried calling it, but to no avail. I was given a recording saying that all of their customer service people are busy. I intend to try a***n, though.

I have gotten several calls from this number, and every time I tell them that I'm not the person they are looking for, but they keep calling! I was going to file with the FDCPA for harrassment but they wont even tell me the name of the company. I did final get someone to tell me that it is an online payday loan company, so it probably is QXL.

I have asked them many many times to stop calling this #.Thay keep telling me that thay are from a differant company im getting tired of them calling me 15 times a day every day...

this 213-555-5556 # is calling my business. the person who held this job before me had these calls for her but she is gone, has been for mths. i explain this to the caller and they say they wouldn't call a***n but they do and they call at least 7 or more times a day. They called one day over 24 times!!!!!!

We get calls several times a day. When a person is there they ask for a different name each time, none of whom I know. Today they said they were www.yellowdale.com collections. I called them and they didn't even have my number in their database. They are s****ing directory****istance.

I get at least 5-10 calls from this company every week day looking for someone I do not know. I've asked numerous times to be taken from the list. I get ***g up on when I ask for the company name or the manager.
