I am in contact with this same person I believe it’s definitely a Dating site scam. He also says he’s stationed in Syria and he can’t take instant photos… or make video calls. He definitely has all the scam stuff down like the not being able to access bank account. He asked for a gift card for his birthday… He is using the Name Benny which is completely different from the name listed here. Nice try though!

This user is claiming to be in the military and using dating sights to scam. He says he is stationed in Syria. Do not fall for this. If he tells you he can’t FaceTime all military stations allow Skype on days off. Anyone stationed in Syria likely is too busy to be on their phones and wouldn’t be on dating sights to begin with. Once I started to ask for his CAC and MOS he got really quite then I used the info from this sight and got blocked instantly.
