This morning, while sitting in front of my computer to catch up on emails, Facebook, internet news, etc, I was drinking coffee and eating leftover apple pie (which earlier on Facebook, I had posted a commented about enjoying eating pie for breakfast). Then the phone rang and it was the bahzillioninth solicitor representing a remodel contracting company, who supposedly is currently doing work in our neighborhood (you know, the usual spiel). Once it was my turn to speak, I politely and calmly repeated my usual mantra to those solicitors: "My husband IS a contractor, and as such, I respectfully ask that you please take us off your call sheet". The usual retorts to this are either a ****-up, or some are nice enough to say that they will take us off their list (but you KNOW they don't). Well, there are other comments, which today's falls under: Okay ma'am, I will take you off our list and enjoy your pie.....your apple pie. I NEVER MENTIONED ANYTHING TO THAT SOLICITOR ABOUT MY EATING, MUCH LESS WHAT I WAS EATING!!!!!!??????? Now the type of pie I was eating could have been a wild guess on the solicitor's part. BUT, I am posting this in hopes that if there's some sort of hacking where people's Facebook status updates are being monitored by some hack solicitor company, then PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!! I CANNOT figure out any other way as to how ANYONE would have known that I was eating pie and that it was apple! Here's the phone number that called in: 213.221.8402. And of course, when that number is called, it immediately goes into a voice mail, where the greeting does not identify who the caller is nor the name of any company. Next question is, do I contact Facebook about this intrusion/hacking? Or the phone company, or what? I have already, repeatedly gone to "DoNotCall.Gov" and have submitted our phone number, even though, it's my understanding that it is no longer effective. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. And please beware and be careful!

Asked to speak to my husband by his first name. I said he wasn't here, then she asked if I was his wife. I first asked who she was, she said she was Theresa. When I asked with whom she was was affiliated, she repeatedly said only that she is Theresa. She then refused to answer, repeatedly asking for my name and relationship to my husband whom she could only identify by first name. I told her, she called me, I would like her info before I give mine and ***g up. A legitimate caller would identify themselves and their business, in my opinion.

Recieved a second call from this number within a couple of hours from the 1st time...Was able to answer the phone this time and got a **** up just as I was answering...Called back and was informed user's mail box is full...Going to turn this into the no calls complaint forum as I am listed for no calls on the government website...It is really irrating to have to drop what I am doing to catch a phone call only to be ***g up on...I feel they might be casing my home to see when I am not home to break in

UH is now aware they are being sold *** leads by HDC. Best way to get this to stop -- go along w/ their spiel, feign interst in a $10K + remodel, set up an appointment, and see who shows -- w***ver shows is liable for the DNC violations plus they've spent time learning they bought a bad lead who now could also get $$ from them

Got a call from "Thomas" at 213-221-8402 asking for me by first and last name offering construction services. Have no idea how he got a hold of my information, perhaps through a mortgage company I just used. I wouldn't be surprised that they sold my info because I received an unsolicited donations call just as well right after filing the paperwork. Called back, voice mail box is full. If I find out who sold him my info I will put a foot intheir****.

Would someone please post the name of the wireless carrier that owns this number?I have received numerous calls from this number, and they **** up after 5 to 10 Seconds.There is background noise present which sounds like traffic, perhaps near a Freeway.The VoiceMail box is now full.When I call them back, their Cell Phone is either off, or they have chosen "Forward All Calls To Voicemail" feature.
