A message from Uncom****oods: Please do not answer calls coming from 212-660-1480. This number belongs to Uncom****oods but is being used by a 3rd party to perpetrate a scam in which thousands of people are being auto-dialed in an attempt to obtain credit card and social security numbers. If you are able to block these calls with your phone provider, please do so. There are several versions of this scam, including: • Offering LifeAlert at a discount or for free • “Paul from Uncom****oods” is calling to let you know that your Medic Alert package is ready to ship • Offering pharmacy rebates • Offering a free cruise Some people have called us to report that the outgoing message we play when someone calls 212-660-1480 is being played back to them. This sort of unsolicited contact is not so****ing that we would ever do and these calls are not coming from us. Please remember to never share your personal information with someone you don’t know. If an offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is. This scam seems to be primarily aimed at the elderly. If you have an elderly friend or relative who may fall victim to this sort of scam, please talk to them about the dangers of providing credit card or social security numbers to a stranger. We have reported this illegal activity to the FCC (Federal Communications Commission ) and we encourage you to do the same. If you’d like to report your call to FCC, you may reach them at 1-888-225-5322. . If you’d like to speak to a member of the Uncom****oods team, please contact us at 888-365-0056 between the hours of 8am and 11pm ET. We are very sorry for this unpleasant experience and hope to have this resolved shortly.

You're right to be su****ious of these calls - these are definitely not coming from Uncom****oods. They're retailer of jewelry, baby items, household goods. Somebody has hijacked one of their numbers and is auto-dialing people at all hours of the day and night Please be smart and don't provide any personal information to anyone who calls you. If a company calls you offering you free merchandise but they need your credit card info in order to send you the "free" items, don't fall for it. Report these calls to the FCC. When your phone bill comes in, check to see which number actually called you and report that as well.

came from 212-660-1480 and had message about some medic alert device. I hit 1 to get agent who was "Eric". I should have played along to get company name, but said "DON'T CALL THIS NUMBER A***N" - he ***g up. Within the next few minutes we got 3 "F U" calls back but this time from "private number" which we didn't answer and which left no number. I'm going to call RNK as they may be the CLEc that number belongs to, but phone companies never seem to help, anyway.
