I received a call from this number. Caller ID showed UNKNOWN. I never answer those. It may have been AMEX, as I do have an account.

This number is fraudulent and is not an official American Express number. I checked with the company this morning. I think it is from individuals trying to get account numbers by claiming to be****ociated with the company. Their procedures are definitely not like those of AX. It is not a robocall because they called me 6 weeks ago and I told them I was not interested and never give out information over the phone. I have filed an FCC complaint and alerted American Express about this number. They confirmed that this number is not****ociated with their company. DO NOT give out any information. **** UP and file a complaint with www.donotcall.gov.
