They called my husband and asked for me, they falsley accused me of owing money to Tmobile. We blocked their number and will report this to Experian in case they try to ruin my good credit history.

I got a call from these SCAM guys this morning. 1st Caller ID: UNKNOWN NAME 929-555-0175 It s****ed out with a guy speaking bad English (sounded like he was from India). He is telling me my computer was sending errors to their server. Then after a few steps he has me type into the computer, he say's that he needs to transfer me to someone else - he s****s to transfer me to someone else and I ***g up. I get a call back from these guys. The same noise is in the background. This time 2nd Call D shows: TEXAS 210-526-6628 I ask him where he is located and he tells me New York. Then why does the caller ID show Texas I ask. Our server is located someplace else he says. Our server called you. After making like I am following his directions: I enter on the left side the Microsoft Windows key and R a Command Window opens and now he tells me to type in: eventvwr Well at this point I know he is trying to do so****ing to my PC or get my credit card information.. I make like I am following his instructions a***n but it gets to the point that I suspect he knows that 1- I ma an Idiot or 2 - leading him along. But No, he thinks I am not doing so****ing correctly. I decide to end the call and tell him I am not buying into his Scam. He continues to talk to try to convince me I need to do this. I told him I was wasting his time but he try's to threaten me that, I am very foolish and sort of indicates he will do so****ing to my computer. I ***g up and did a Google Search for - eventvwr and came up with articles on the Scam. SO BEWHERE OF THESE PHONE CALLS - IT"S A SCAM! http://www.howtogeek.com/180514/the-%E2%80%9Ctech-support%E2%80%9D-scammers-called-htg-so-we-had-fun-with-them/

How can we filter out such calls? More and more frequent, or so it seems.
