this number is someone that works for a collection aggency. Calling you is much cheaper and faster than mailing you. They need to know they bought good up dated info and account info. They were given or bought your delinquint account info from another company or credit service at a lessor price of what you owed that company. This is a cell phone. What happens is they call you by a computer program endless amount of times with their company's toll free numbers and since you do not answer those, after some time they break out their personal cell phone to call your number to see if they have a good number with a human answering it and once they hear your voice, bingo, they know they have a good number and will not stop calling you from the companies toll free numbers.once they have your info they will hound you very long time until they get nowhere with scaring you into paying them some type of lessor payment of what you had owed in the first place. If they can't scare you into paying, after some months go by, they resell your account to another collection company and it s****s all over. If you don't know a number, do not answer it. Wait for them to **** up, "BLOCK" your number and call them back to see who answers, then remember number by saving in your phone with a different ring tone. Then you know not to answer theys numbers and they give up.

Receive calls every few days from this number. We don't recognize it, so we let the ma****e get it. There's NEVER a message left. Sometimes they **** up before the ma****e finishes! Our number is on the Do Not Call list & I think think number & w***ver owns it is abusing the DNC list.
