P.S. I JUST CALLED PORTLAND, MAINE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE TO REPORT THIS SPAM CENTER. THEY ARE PASSING TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES (I.E., P.D. AND OTHERS) GAVE THEM THE TELE NUMBER CALLED THE 'SPAM' AND NAME OF PERSON WHO IDENTIFIED HIMSELF.

Spam/Scam called ID'd himself as: Brian. They are tell you "points redemption" so if you have any connection with a credit card or store points reward system - you may not catch this spam call right at first. I didn't off the bat, either. "You've (been credited) for making x-purchase at x-store recently, we're sending you a $100 gift card for WalMart..a $25 gas credit.." Whatever. They ask you for full name, birth year and state you live in. THEN: What they're actually wanting is YOU PAY for S&H in the amount of $4.95..for THEM to send you the so-called GIFT CARD. By the time I realized it wasn't from any business relation I deal with, I said to 'Brian" ..oh right, you're that kind of business
