Spam/Scam called ID'd himself as: Brian. They are tell you "points redemption" so if you have any connection with a credit card or store points reward system - you may not catch this spam call right at first. I didn't off the bat, either. "You've (been credited) for making x-purchase at x-store recently, we're sending you a $100 gift card for WalMart..a $25 gas credit.." Whatever. They ask you for full name, birth year and state you live in. THEN: What they're actually wanting is YOU PAY for S&H in the amount of $4.95..for THEM to send you the so-called GIFT CARD. By the time I realized it wasn't from any business relation I deal with, I said to 'Brian" ..oh right, you're that kind of business

If you believe they are not legitimate "Why are you pressing 2 to put yourself on a do not call list?" By doing so you have just confirmed to an illegitimate en***y that there is an active line with a human attached to it. Now they can sell that number to another scam en***y with the guarantee that it is an active line... Or as Homer would say "Doooh!'"

Same thing for me, saw I had a missed call, no vm. Googled number, came up with Secure Systems, Inc. in Portland, Maine. I don't know anyone in Maine. It's probably just another NSA spy thing. The government is trying to see if it's an active number so they can track, monitor and invade our privacy!

P.S. I JUST CALLED PORTLAND, MAINE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE TO REPORT THIS SPAM CENTER. THEY ARE PASSING TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES (I.E., P.D. AND OTHERS) GAVE THEM THE TELE NUMBER CALLED THE 'SPAM' AND NAME OF PERSON WHO IDENTIFIED HIMSELF.

Missed the call because it rang once. No voicemail. Called it back and its a scam called Reward Redemption offering some rebate card. If you press 2, it places you on a Do Not Call list.
