I received a telephone call from an unknown source asking to return his phone call to #206-279-2328. He also requested that I refer to use code #SS 050, when speaking to the next person who answered the phone # called. The caller, who sounds very much like a middle-easterner with an Asian Indian or Pakistani accent sounded very convincing until I began to question him and information concerning his employer's identity and geographical location. He soon became confused and our phone call ended by this person listening to a new dial tone. This was the third time I was called today. Each time I was called it was a different person speaking with me.

This number was used by a person in Seattle, WA. They were posing as representatives from the IRS and stated the IRS had a warrant out for my arrest. They then stated I was to call them to settle my IRS account or go to jail. Having worked with the IRS, I know this is not how they do business. Other people need to be aware this is an IRS scam and all calls made by the number 206-279-1732 should be reported to the Seattle police. I intend to report this to the police myself. Please be wary of any IRS calls, they do not call, they send letters on official letterhead with contact information enclosed.

Caller ID shows UNKNOWN. It is a recording about changing credit card rates and is the last chance, but they keep calling even though I don't answer or when I do answer don't push the number they want you to push.

I keep getting this recording about having a chance to lower my credit card rates. First of all, I don't have any credit cards, second they keep saying this is my last chance. I have the option to push 3 on my phone to stop the calls which I have done at least 5 times, they still call. I have also pushed 1 on my phone to speak with someone. I have done this 7 times and EVERY time, I am hung up on. What kind of a company is this?? You hang up on people??? I really want these calls to stop. I have NO credit cards. Rudest people ever!!!!!!

Hi, I got an email from my craigslist posting from Mark @edproperties and when I google it this is what came up, It also had a link inside the email for me to click but I didn't fall for that.I have gotten nothing but scammer's like this one since I posted my listing a few days ago.I answered one back thinking (hoping) it was legitimate but then I got a response with a link to click saying "try this" most of the scam's are easy to spot, typo's or sentences that are totally off.Luckily I made an email account just for my craigslist account so I don't have to deal with this in my regular email.Thanks for starting this posting on these people, its going to save a lot of people from wasting their time

I just got a text from this guy today twice and I just posted items for sale on craigslist(not real estate) him wanting to purchase real estate. I am a broker in Washington state selling real estate. How come it came from a 675-53 is the only number that has come up on my verizon phone. Maybe I can report this to Verizon. He shouldn't be allowed to do this type of scam.

I received two unsolicited text messages today from 222-226-7553. My T-Mobile account shows the origin of the call to be MAURITANIA, a country in northwest Africa. The text said,,, www.JpeProperties.com...we want your property... blah, blah, blah. Considering that I have all text messages blocked, this was a surprise. Apparently, if you can spoof a carrier's email address, then you can send spam from servers in third world nations to people's cell phones. I believe this is a violation of the do not call laws in many states and the federal law, and this bogus company could face some serious time behind bars and/or a big fine for such activities.I believe I am able to block this by using the email settings with my carrier that prevent computer generated SMS texts being sent to cell phones. This is in addition to regular text message blocking I had already set up. Funny, I don't even have email service with my flip phone, but alas, this procedure is how the carrier's computers send me necessary text messages.

I actually clicked on Mark's link and filled out the first page on the website which asks for my name, street address, phone number and the type of property for sale- when I clicked onto the next page there you are asked to list home details. At the bottom of that page is terms and conditions- I decided to send mark an email and ask this guy who he was and for more information. Mark has been sending me emails for 2 days now. Yesterday he sent about 10. I responded to the first one earlier yesterday hoping they were legitimate. I should have known better.
