Global Payment Management Division, working out of Ca***a and Las Vegas but are apparently based in DC from look-up information above. Sent a letter and a bogus but real looking check in the amount of $3896.27 and asking for $3610.00 for a non-residential Tax to be paid out of the bogus check. Strongly advises to keep the letter away from public view. To activate the claim call claim agent at 202-380-9362, Extension 6070. This scam will take you for $286.27 Please don't fall for it. They have also called me over the phone to ask if I have received the letter yet. Called from various phone number area codes: (876), (202), and (760) are main ones. I have blocked more than 50 phone numbers that this scammer is using to bilk people out of money. They also want me to purchase Green.dot scratch cards in various amounts, scratch them off and read the code over the phone to them. Supposedly someone will arrive at my home to deliver the prize money after I read the codes off of the green.dot money cards. They are good at what they are doing because the check looks so real, however, it does not have a water mark. Please do not fall for these scams.
