Got a call with a prerecorded message peddling dental insurance, if interested I could leave my name and number and an “agent” would call me back. I’ve gotten this call 2 or 3 times before and have always left an angry message to place me on the do not call list. This time I left a name and number for them to call me back. When the “agent” call back on number 510-979-9528, I listen to his pitch and was able to get some information out of him. He claimed to be from the Dental Enrollment Center, 44904 Osgood Road, Fremont, CA 94539. Though the phone number and address belong to Mirco One a microwave components manufacturer. The plan he had was from****urant Health. I firmly told him to put me on their do not call list, that I would be contacting the FTC and****urant Health (as a customer of****urant). He was rather apologetic and said he would put my number on the list immediately. I hope this works and would recommend to everyone to get them to call back and waste their time. Get as much information as to who they represent and contact the companies that are using them.

This is Medco a mail order pharm that a lot of companies Unfortunately contract with the problem is they are dumb and u receive unnecessary calls that smarter ppl wouldn't bother y with things like we need to confirm ur address before we ship ur medication etc (when our address hadn't c****ed and it wasn't a scheduled drug or any thing that someone might want to steal to sell on the street)...so in our experience they have nor been trying to sell us anything but the calls are ridiculous and annoying

this is medco - it is legit - i knew they were a part of my insurance - but never bothered with 'mailorder drugs'....so always threw away their paperwork.HOWEVER - i have united healthcare - (s***) - and went to fill a prescription for a steroid nose spray - OMNARIS - the pharmacist said 'that will be $129, please"....i said ***? and then the pharmacy showed me the note from united healthcare...'omnaris - not covered - request a CHEAPER nose spray".........so, naturally, i called united H.C.........the person explained that united healthcare WILL cover the cost of OMNARIS...if i use medco and get a 90 day perscription. so i called my doctor, relayed the same info - he agreed - and called in a 90 day script - 2 days later i get 2 calls from the 2018911029 - both times they left messages asking i verify my shipping address - no other personal information - and left an 877 number to return their call.call centers often have a number that cant be returned - thats not those peoples jobs - they make phone calls....not take phone calls - a very common practice....so they offer a toll-free number for you to return the call - who wants long distance charges when youre using medco to save money....and as far as verifying my shipping information???? i guess thats ok - i sure dont want to pay for drugs that go to someone else....and someone else doesnt need to know what drugs i take by getting them in their mail.....i do not think medco handles ******s or narcotics.i will update this after i return their call.

Have got my second call, I have caller Id. Said it was Medco. Pharmacy so I answered no one would talk, I've been ripped off by mail order pharmacies. This was Medco Pharmacy also. If they are part of your insurance group you better make sure they are in your network. That little mistake cost me $700.00 or more.

I think Medco is a reliable organization but also think that this 'Medco Pharmacy" @ either 772-335-4498 or 201-891-1029 is a bogus number! Several people have found listings with these two numbers out of New Jersey, Illinois, but my own research points to either Ft. Pierece or Fort Lauderdale in FLA. I have called Medco myself on the real Medco number and found that Medco knows nothing about these bogus calls.

I got a call at 8:30PM last night from "Medco" but the caller ID says Wyckoff. A nice lady told me she was calling for Medco, my prescription service. I told her that her number did not show up as Medco. She acted confused and said it should have. Then she wanted my birthdate! Hey, she called my home phone late at night! Yes, the person she is calling is me. Anyway, she wanted to tell me about the generic form of Ambien and that it is much cheaper with same ingredients. She wanted permission to call my doctor to have him order the generic instead of ***nd. She even named my doctor! I said***** NO! I tried the generic and it made me feel practically paralyzed - pinned to my bed and couldn't move then panic attacks set in. I was afraid to let it make me fall into a permanent DEEP sleep. I said it may have some of the same ingredients but not all and that it's not the same drug and that's why my doctor and I decided to go for ***nd on this drug. She went on with her spill on how I won't be compensated through taxes, etc. for the ***nd and how much I would save if I bought the generic. HELLO, I had a detrimental reaction to this generic and I don't care how much money I save, I don't ever want to take that drug a***n. How ******, buy the drug because it's cheaper and forget about being paralyzed in bed with a major panic attack barely able to move! I bet it's the drug manufacturer. I am furious that my prescription insurance is giving my personal information out to several 3rd parties. This lady had to be a 3rd party calling from her home in Wyckoff, New Jersey.

This is Medco -- a prescription drug company that works with your health insurance carrier. They're not breaking any laws, including "Do Not Call Me" by calling you if you have them as part of your health insurance because you're a client of theirs.They called a couple of times and when I answered, they wanted ME to prove who I am! It turns out they wanted to discuss how much $$ I could save by letting them fill my prescriptions through the mail. When I told the guy (he said his name was "Josh Boger") I had tried their service once and they took my money but didn't send my prescription meds (I'd also sent them a script from my doctor), he kept trying to get me to buy from their mail service.He kept saying I would save money; I kept telling him that taking my money and not sending the meds was a great way for me to LOSE money.
