We have asked in a polite manner for these people to stop calling. Finally my fiance had had it and went to the Better Business Bureau or the BBB, they gave us information on how to file a complaint but the company does not show up in the database for them. They also gave us the number for the National Do Not Call Registry number is 888-382-1222 very simple just follow the prompts then you are right away put on this list but you have to call from the phone receiving the calls. If after 30 days they still call then the number says to go to this website, and put the complaint into this site www.donotcall.gov Good luck all! I got a call from 201-520-9547 on Sept. 13; caller with a foreign accent identified himself as Ryan Phillips from Education Headquarters. He informed me he was calling in response to my request for information about furthering my education. I did not request any information and told him that. He said I went online on Sept. 9 and requested it. I did not go online Sept. 9 to request any such information and told him that as well. He asked if I planned to further my education; I told him I did not. He then asked if anyone else in the household planned to further their education; I told him this was a business line and not to call it a***n.I know now how EH got my number. On Sept. 9 I got a call from "Operator 256" at a company called Esta Sol (phone number 402-982-0603) a telemarketing firm saying I won a cruise and telling me to go online to www.surveyclaim.com and claim it -- which I did not do. Esta Sol rattled off a phone number, which is an old number that is being forwarded to my current number, and that is the same number Education Headquarters called. I would never give permission to anyone to share my phone number, but clearly Esta Sol has taken it upon themselves to distribute my info to God knows who else.

They keep calling and asking for someone by the name of Janie. Once they told me she won a cruise, and used my cell number, they repeated the number and it was mine. They then, offered me the cruise and I told them I was not interested. After receiving 8 calls from them last week, and them promising to not call anymore and removing my number, I called back and it said it was some Education Headquarters. It gave me a choice to be removed from their call list, I did so, and I've received 2 more calls today alone! I'm about to report them for harrassment!! I'm ill and do not need these calls and them bothering me! I'm getting extremely angry about this!!!

I answered this call and a lady with an Indian accent asked if I was planning on continuing my education. I could not continue talking to her because I was extremely busy at work. I have recieved more calls from this number since then (5 today). They didn't leave any messages and when I called the number back, it went to an automated message. I don't think they will stop calling until I confront them about it. Hope it works (considering they never answer when I pick up the phone).

Another situation where I applied for a job - carefully skipping education offers - and got the telemarketer for a school anyway. Also got an unknown # call doing same thing. Tried to explain to them the above situation and they just **** up on me. So much for trying to nicely explain a situation!
