Initial caller asks who your provider is, then transfers you to a tech who pretends to be from whatever company you tell them you have. They then tell you there's a problem. They want you to pay a fee for an "update" they claim to be doing to your "equipment." They ask if you can give credit card info or write a check. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO OR MONEY. TOTAL SCAM!
