THIS IS A SCAM!! I received a text message saying my Bank of America debit card is being restricted due to fraud. They wanted me to call 1 800 517 8676 to verify account. I went to my local Bank of America ***nch and they said my account is fine. THIS IS A SCAM! Don't call and don't give them any information.

Just got a similar text message. I don't even bank with Chase bank, but my mother does and I am her POA of record. I called Chase to report the scam and will now be monitoring her account very closely, as well as my own.
