Pretty much , if you type down your personal # on the WorldWideWeb you will be getting some kind of annoying calls sooner or later . Remember - it is your own doing for putting it online . This is also how bill collectors find you . They have people working for them - looking for #'s on my****e , yahoo , aol , sing**** , any and everywhere people go to reach out to thier friends , family and others !! Yes the bill collecters pay people like you and me , to do searches for names , even to become friends with the person , so you can obtain the # . A friend of mines , Aunt was working for one of them in Illinios and she quit the job when they asked her to do it . But alot of people will just do it for a paycheck . People be wise , be carefull ! Take care , Shannon

Ah, actually, if you guys research, here is a web link about Bluegreen.http://www.complaint.tv/bluegreen_corp_with_bass_pro_shops-1535.htmlApparently, those aren't Bass Pro people. Excerpt from that site:----------------------------The employees are told to stand in front of the booth, and grab the people as they go by or place a pad and pencil in the customer's hand to SIGN UP TO WIN THE DRAWING. ----------------------------------------I think we all fell for that one.----------------------------------------Many get very irritated. The employees must STAND for hours, even when there are not people in the store. The catch is this: the drawing is used to get personal information, phone, address, income and if they don't sign to allow the telemarketers to use their numbers, etc., they are not eligible to win. What a scam.------------Anyway, my bet is Bass Pro shouldn't be doing business with this Bluegreen company. And I cannot find anywhere to tell Bass Pro what I think of this tactic.

I was getting these calls and found the info below on another site. I called and they said they would take me off the call list. We'll see if it works."Ok, so someone finally was on the other end a***n after days of 2-3 calls a day. This is for a company called Star Travel. I played along and got a toll free callback number for them, it is 1-888-890-2999, when they pick up they say "Reservations". You will be able to remove your number from their list or just voice frustration that way."

I get calls from this number 5 or 6 times every day. Usually there is no one there, and the number just ****s up after a few seconds. About 5% of the time I get someone on the line, and ask them to remove me from their calling list. They say, "Okay, sir," and I get 6 more calls the next day. I've called the toll free number above and made the same request, to no avail. I have no idea what to do next.-Josh, Idaho

Supposedly a guy named David Williams - claims to be from your pharmacy and tries to put in an order for a refill on prescriptions. Says this number is "their warehouse in Tenesse" DO NOT TALK TO HIM. He is engaged in fraudulant activity and due to the obscene amounts of phone calls he has made to me, I have reported him to the authorities. He is under investigation for fraud.Numbers related to this same person include: 305-728-4671 and 415-880-5599

Now that I think about it, I think Bass Pro should make every single employee, cashier, store manager and share holder sign up for every single in store offer. That way, they can experience EXACTLY what they put their customers through and what they ask their customers to tolerate.I'd bet suddenly those young people wouldn't be following you around aggressively pushing **** at you after you politely tell them no thank you 3 times.

Bass Pro Shops did this to me with this ****py company.Push push push for you to sign up for this, that, even when you say no thank you. They keep pushing until finally you say yes just to make them go away.Bass Pro Shop turned their CUSTOMERS into VICTIMS.I can't get rid of this Bluegreen company now. They just keep calling.Beware of Bass Pro shops. Don't sign up for ANYTHING in their stores.

I received call 4-30-08 at 1:02. I didn't answer, but I learned what I needed to know on this website. Unfortunately, I was at Bass Pro Shop one day and this lady wanted me to fill out a ticket for store give-away. I did not realize until after completion and dropped in the box that she was using my info for a resort outfit.

vacation tour and travel. Telemarketers for a timeshare resort company blue-green resorts. If you ever signed up for an in store give away make sure you read the fine print. The giveaway is just a front to get everyone who entered to get a timeshare call. And since you signed up you agreed to have them contact you---thus exempt from DO NOT CALL lists

I'm going to have to admit that i to was a victim of the bass pro shop! I know better than to fill out those ****** things, but the thought of winning must have got the better of me. wonder if you can complain to them, or if you give up that right when you fill out the form. lesson learned i guess!
