Got the same call about 2 hours ago. They claim to be DirecTv. It was a recording saying we needed to update our credit card info and to go online or call back. We have DirecTv but we have never paid with a credit card. We set up auto payment with our bank. I would watch this one. Any thing that comes across one's phone line in regards to credit cards screams scam. Especially if it is a number that is unrecognizable. We bought a Panasonic phone with a block on it and it has helped reduce these calls immensly. No legitimate company with any m****s and ethics is ever going to call and ask for personal info. Beware and don't speak to them or give any info.

Look at other sites. This is not really DirecTv calling. It may seem legit but, that is how the scam works. I was called twice today and no message was left to identify the caller. My credit card and payments are current so, DTV wouldn't have any reason to be calling me.
