Cancelled my subscription and these tools call me all the time.
(800) 872-0001 - November 21st, 2010 5:00am
I cancelled my subscription due to unsatisfactory service. I told them directly and they were aware of my displeasure; however, they keep calling ---- I have no intention of re-subscribing ---- just leave me alone.

Yes, these calls are coming from USA TODAY. Our subscription expired over a month ago and they call twice a day, EVERY DAY, and will not honor REPEATED requests to stop calling. I hate that **** paper now. I will never give them another penny as long as I live.

I purchased a gift subscription for a friend over a year ago. I did not renew the subscription. I have called and formally requested that USA Today stop harassing me over renewing on 4 separate occasions during the past month. On each occasion, I have told them it was a gift for someone else, I am not renewing the subscription nor do I want a subscription for myself. I have formally called and requested they stop calling me 4 times. If I tell the rep who calls me to stop calling, they **** up and call back a few hours later. Since I last formally called USA Today and asked them to cease and desist, they have called me 18 more times (during the past 9 days) which I am now logging. They will normally harass me twice a day. Just because of this, I will never subscribe to their paper ever a***n. Nor do I now read it when I travel as it is complimentary at most hotels where I stay. Complimentary my...

This is USAToday.com, AKA Gannet Co, Inc. You can file a lawsuit a***nst them for $1500 per call violating the TCPA. They are not allowed to call cell phones using autodialers.

W***ver had my ***nd new phone number obviously didn't pay their bills since these *****s from USA Today are calling about 4 times a day to "talk about my subscription". Don't have one. Don't want one. Probably wouldn't take one if you gave it to me after this ****. Took 4 calls to their supervisors and reporting them to Do Not Call Registry before they stopped.

You'd think a media-savvy company like USA Today would have the corporate ***ins (yeah, right) to not call anyone from a number that Caller ID won't show. That makes people think it's a bill collector or a phone scammer, which is why I never answer those calls. You wouldn't open your door to a stranger without first looking through the ***phole...why let them into your life via the phone? If you can't identify yourself when you call someone, you have no business expecting them to pickup or return your ***ue message.

we get a call from this number a couple times/day/everyday - there has never been a message left. how do we get them to stop?
(800) 872-0001 - March 10th, 2009 4:00am
I didn't renew my subscription to USA Today so I guess I'm in the same boat as the caller above...annoying as all get out.

Very annoying~ they phone twice a day, every couple days, and leave no message.

After cancelling my subscription they now call me about every other day. When I answer they **** up. Sometimes I hear laughter so I don't think this is automated, I think it is deliberate harassment.
(800) 872-0001 - September 21st, 2008 4:00am
It is indeed USA Today and they obviously are clueless calling on a Sunday Morning. Not sure what they want. I canceled my subscription, they credited my bill and then re-billed me for another subscription. Seems as though they hire the less than competent crew. They ring the phone, you answer and they say nothing. DUH.
(800) 872-0001 - September 5th, 2008 4:00am
They call me about two times a day also. I never am able to anser and they never leave a message. I think this is a trend with customer service departments. They have automated ma****es call the customer, and than make them wait while they connect you with a customer service representative. It is really annoying. I have also received similar calls like this from Chase and 5/3 bank. I think a law should be passed making this illegal. It is very annoying and intrusive.

Contacted us at 7:45am PST on a Sunday. Left a recorded message to inquire if we want to subscribe to USA Today. We have been contacted at least 5 times in the last month and there is no ****on option to tell them you are not interested and to not call a***n.

They called twice today, I picked up the phone, no one answers. They are using my cell phone minutes and ****ing up on me. I can't wait to tell USA Today what I think about their telemarketing ****ods.
