I received more than 7 calls from them. When i answered they were a little unprofessional. They urged me to make a student loan payment in full. They said is a fee for making phone payment too. So I told them I was gonna make the payment online or send it through mail. They told me there is also a fee for online payments and mail payments as well. The lady said " no matter how you make the payment there is always gonna be a fee, so you should make the payment through the phone right now, plus in your case you cannot make a payment through the mail, only though the phone." When i told them i was not gonna make a payment yet, because of the phone payment fees and that I also wanted in written their rules and regulations, they told me they were gonna waived the all fees for me so i can s**** making payments. When I spoke to one of the managers he said "we don't do this for any customers, but just for you we are gonna waive all the fees and you will never have to pay any fees ever." I honestly think they are a scam.

whom ever owned this phone number 410-335-7072 before us. does not live here. i am not mrs smith or mrs jones i do not have a court appearance. or owe any debts. for 5 years we have been getting calls from this number or one simular. done, i am going to report this number to phone service provider.

Like many others these people are calling several times in a row almost every day.  I finally answered the phone very rudely and a woman identified herself and asked for someone I've never heard of.  I, a***n, was rude when I told her she had a wrong number and ***g up on her.  I have a feeling it's some type of scam and they're looking to get personal information about people or their neighbors.  Do not give any information out.

They called, I answered the phone, there was silence. I waited, then a recording of a man's voice saying "Hello" came on, then more silence. Then they ***g up. I googled the number and found numerous complaints about this company via other posting boards.

Got a call from these jokers today... the rep violated FDCPA 3 times in 2 minutes- I didn't know that was possible! I reported them through both the FTC and Better Business Bureau. I recommend you do the same; don't let some company violate your rights just because you owe money.

I have an excellent credit rating and do not owe anyone any money.  These people are calling me daily. I don't know where they got my name and phone number, but I have no unpaid bills, so they are calling the wrong person. Today, a person named Gwen left a message saying "this is not a sales or solicitation call. It is an important business matter." Although the caller ID number was 1-800-829-7204, Gwen's message said to call 1-800-668-5715, x5319. I am on the Do-not-call list. This is illegal harassment, pure and simple.

First if they did the background checks in which they falsely say they do on their applications for employment as well as to the solicitation of business they would not have well known criminals working within the company. Now this company Collects on Government loans, and retail loans such as Citi Financial, and a many of other company's defaulted loans. Therefore, which in return gives their workers access to Social Security Numbers, Credit Card Information, Checking and Savings account information. we are on the no solict phone list, we consistly get a call from the 800-829-7204 number, this morning alone, it s****ed at 811 and called 5 times more.  It is only 956 now.  This is a drag working from home and getting nothing done because of the calls.  Do not know who it is, no messages left this is harrassment.  If you read this----stop calling or leave a message.

this number has called my home more than I can count- they are also calling my surrounding neighbors trying to get information on another neighbor across the street from our homes! One operator ***g up on me when I became upset about all the calls & ****-ups.  I then called the number back & was told it was perfectly legal for them to do this, I found out it is not! then asked to be removed from the call list-supposedly I am but we shall see.  This number has been reported to the better business bureau & Gov. Agency.

I was staying at my cousins when the phone rang. I answer and they rudely ***g up. We though it was a friend from LA so we called back (because the number appeard on caller ID. They answered and I asked "Yeah whos this?, I recieved a phone call" and they said "May I leave you a message" and then ***g up.They called a***ng (about 5 min later) and this time my cousin picked it up and they asked her "Is this the _______ residence? Yeah where from Los Angeles" turns out it was her house and shes very scares even though she lied and said "Sorry wrong number"Shes scared to write in this forum but please find the perverted ******* that is calling her family

If you want them to stop calling you have to send them written notification via fax or mail.  I would send Certified that way they have to sign for it.  They have to provide proof of debt within in 30 days or they have to cancel the account.  If they don't cease contact or validate the debt, keep records of when they call and after 45 days of calls they have committed a felony and you may then sue for harassment, compliance, & collect damages from not only thye representative harrassing you, but the company as well.  I am in the process of collecting this data to sue for damages and if they treat everyone this way, could have a class action lawsuit on their hands if they're not careful.  Hope it helps.  Remember, don't root around with the pigs, get smart and fry some bacon!!

Mark Mitchell from this company called for the 50th time (i usually just ignore that #) but today decided to pick up to let him know that this was not the Castro residence..little did I know helping someone out would lead to being insulted and being called a liar. He refused to believe that i was not a women named Cynthia Castro..he was a very ignorant, and rude person. Said someone answered from my number and said they were castros husband which is impossible especially for the date and time stated. I called back and supposedly spoke with a manager who said she would remove my number as a contact. Then let me know in a very rude manner they have my social security number ( which i know they dont because im not the person they are looking for) She was a rude person too. All I know is i will never pick up a phone call a***n from these people. They need to be shut down.

You have the right under the FDCPA to be talked to in a manner that is not rude and threatening.  First send a letter certified and return receipt to their headquarters and request that they never a***n call your number because the person at that number no longer lives there.  If they persist on calling your number you are allowed then to inform your local attorney general and file suit based on federal FDCPA call regarding collections. If you can talk to an attorney concerning the calls and see if he is willing to  take the case,  if he does ask him what you need to do in order to solidify your suit a***nst them.  Typically they do not care unless you pursue them.  There is a limit on their penalty if they are found in contempt and it is not a big amount at that.

This compainy has called me at school during my cl*****, called at 4:30. Then they called my neighbor 3 times, my elderly nighbor noless. 2x they called and ***g up on her, the third she answered and harased her and demanded my adress and contact info, they got corse with her and demanded she give up the information. We tryed contacting them and they refuse to give any information claming that it is "NONE OF OUR BUISNESS"  ?How is it not when they ask you if you ar the person named on the account?I have reported them to the FTIC and filed an stop contact order. These people are calling up to 8 times per day at all times of the day and night every day of the week.  We are not late on any bills.  We want them to stop.
