If it is a collection agency, they have to be polite and notify you that all info obtained will be used as information to collect a debt. They are not to be rude or all the above is considered HARRASSMENT. Use donotcalllist.gov and report them if necessary.

They have been calling quite frequently adn when I finally answered and said the person they were looking for was not available and asked if they would like to leave a message Mrs. Chaucer replied No, so I informed her that since she did not wish to leave a message she was not to call this number a***n, she quickly said Oh well i didn't know if you ahd a pen and paper available. First off, you said no, you didn't ask if I ahd one available you declined to leave a message. Then she asked if i would take the number adn I said no and ***g up. She calls back immediately and begins to argue with me and when I asked for her manager, surprise surprise, there were none available. How convenient for them. Number is now blocked adn will not be answered a***n. She was rude and argumentative.

Reputedly...and I say this because they get some buzz on RipoffReport...they ara a collections agency: http://cms-collect.com/ However, the website looks suspect and they do not ACT like a collections agency, so they are generally considered a scam outfit from what I have researched. Do not answer, do not respond. My lawyer friend makes this suggestion: If ever contacted by a reputed collection agency or law firm, and you have answered the call or letter...immediately tell them you DISPUTE the entire affair and they must provide you with Proof and do***entation. They will try to claim they do not, but by law...this is any US consumer's right. If they deny it, ask to speak to a supervisor.
