I have been receiving calls but since I didn't know the number I don't answer. They never leave a message. They had called my mother as well as my mother in law. I returned the called and they said they were The Atlantic Group and said they were an arbitration group and advised me that I was being sued for Fraud and Attempting to Defraud a Financial Ins***ution from a payday loan that I defaulted on with The ***an Group LLC. I told them that I never took out a payday loan and had never heard of ***an Group. The girls name was Rebecca and she told me that I defaulted in 2012 and when they attempted to present my check to the bank it was returned NSF. I asked how much this supposed loan was. She said with all the fees it was now $700. I laughed at her and told her that at no time have I not had $700 in my account and if a check was returned that my bank would have notified me. I asked for do***ents and she stated that I have been mailed several notices from ***an and have chosen to ignore them. I told her that I know this is a scam and I am going to be contacting the FTC as well as the Attorney General's Office. I told her if they called a***n I would take action a***nst them legally. She told me that I will be receiving a subpoena soon and I can defend myself in court. I told her ok and ***g up. This is a total scam.

Called me with a claim number. Only problem is they got my name wrong because they called me on a VOIP line. Totally bogus.
