The above also happened to us. He called in response to an angi request for pool cover replacement. Asked for payment upfront and actually delivered a pool liner to our house. But after that, hired two fellows from Craigslist (who he and we had never met). They showed up to do the work and Tyrone refused to pay them or to complete our work / give us our money back. Beware, DO NOT give him your money!!

Texted in response to a search on Angi for handyman. Supposedly replacing another contractor "lyanna W". Needed a ceiling repair. Sounded knowledgeable. Seemed to know how to fix (terminology, etc). No names or addresses on do***ents sent. Totally fell for the pitch. Job scheduled for July 8. Paid $600 by apple pay (1/2 before, 1/2 on completion)

Answered a call to a recording saying the following: "Hello, my name is Ryan Adams and I'm calling you in regards to some paperwork I just received in my office that contains your information. I need you to be advised that I have a request here to have you sign for a notice of intent regarding a pending case that has been filed a***nst you. Before we go ahead and stop by your home or work this week to have you sign for this. I wanted to give you a courtesy call to inform you that you are going on our schedule. If you or your attorney has any question, please contact the claimant at 1-844-922-1433. You have been notified." I said "hello" several times during the call in an effort to interrupt them but the recording continued. SCAM. I did not call the 844 number.
