Coachella scammer.
(562) 270-3125
The same exact thing happened as the comment above to my friends and I but for Coachella tickets. Like this man clearly has an exact plan down because he too told us they can’t go because his wife’s dad had a ******, we spoke in the phone, he was sending the tickets over, and then he ***g up and blocked me and my friends.

I was looking for tickets for the Bottlerock festival on Craigslist and a post was offering 6 tickets for $160/ea. I needed 2 tickets. I called the phone number listed and the guy said that a relative was ill and therefor they can't go to the concert. He said that he has the ticket confirmations as an email and as soon as he receives payment, he will make the transfer. I said it would be great if he could send the email and once received I would send payment but he insisted it be the other way around. I didn't feel comfortable with it but thought if we could do the exchange while we were on the phone, it would be OK. I offered to pay via Venmo. He said he didn't have Venmo but that he would accept Apple Pay. I said that I had used Apple Pay at a register but not peer to peer. He said it was quite easy and walked me through it. He said he does not have an iPhone (which you need for Apple Pay) but that I could text his wife the amount...which I did. That number is (562) 270-8573. I also sent him my email so he could send the tickets. He seemed to be doing so and even asked for a second number so that each ticket would be associated with a number, which I thought was odd...but I gave him my son's number as well. We were talking while he was emailing (or so I thought) and then he went silent. I thought he may be working on the email and would come back but he never did. I finally hung up and tried to call back...and the message said that the phone was no longer in service. I originally thought the 562-270-3125 number may be a burner phone but he just blocked me because a couple of hours later, he had a new listing on Craigslist, which I also flagged. I reported the scam to my bank as well as Apple Pay support and they are both taking steps to get my money back as well as track him down. I also tried calling and texting his "wife's" number. No one answered but he/she did text back stating..."U have the wrong number. I don’t know nothing about bottle rock. Idk who gave u this number but u got the wrong one. I don’t have Apple Pay I never received 320$." A bit idiotic really given that there is a record in Apple Pay of me sending $320 to her/him and Apple Pay support confirmed that the he/she indeed accepted the payment. I feel incredibly foolish for having fallen for the scam and want to make sure that others do not.
