I keep getting phone calls from this number (Louisville, KY) at least one a week. I finally decided to answer and an automated message said I had today left to lower my interest rate on my credit card (it didn't say which one) or the offer would expire. So, I pressed 1 like it said. When a person picked up they gargled, giggled, then said a bunch of gibberish. When I asked who it was, they giggled a***n and responded with so****ing and I wasn't positive on what I heard so I asked a***n and they replied, "I'm God. Who are you?" So****ing needs to be done because they keep ****ing me up at all times of the day and night.

He claimed he was with card member services and wanted to lower the interest rate on all of my visa and mastercards based on an Experian report. They asked for parts of card info and could actually pull up my current balance. I had my credit card company on the phone at the same time to cancel and reissue my card. I wanted to see just how far they could take it. Once they saw I didn't have a balance on the card, they said there was no need to take advantage of the offer. (Fraudulent charges would be easily and quickly identified.)

This number left a message about credit cards, which all my credit companies will contact me via-email. Be careful and do not answer, most likely, they are fishing for your personal information.

isn't there anything that can be done to stop these daily intrusive calls? i never answer, do not call back, and block them.
