Here's the answer to all your prayers. Telemarketers almost exclusively use "autodialers" to make their calls. One out of a thousand will have the reps doing the dialing. When these dialers connect (you answer the phone) they listen for any tones generated. They then transfer the call to one of the reps in a call center. "IF" the autodialer hears the 3 beeps from dialing a "DISCONNECTED" number, the number just dialed is automatically "REMOVED" from their list. Below is a link that has this tone PLUS the verbal message. You DO NOT need the verbal message. Download or copy the "DISCONNECTED" MP3 or WAV file to your desktop. Create or c****e the greeting you have when someone calls you and you're not available. At the VERY BEGINNING of the message place the 3 tones (NOT THE VOICE MESSAGE). The autodialer will hear the tones and BINGO, your number will be removed since they think it's a disconnected number. After you insert the 3 tones play your regular greeting. DONE. In a few weeks you will be off of all the lists. Of course you may have to explain the tones to the callers you DO want to speak to but that's a small tradeoff. Pass this info on to people you know that get junk calls or even help post this on these websites. GET RID OF JUNK CALLS. http://www.payphone-directory.org/sounds.html

I got 7 calls today between 8 and 12 today from these people. No voicemail left..

This tormenting debt hound, WFNNB, bothered me with calls in the same fashion. I had charge accounts with Mandee and NY & Company, which they represent. My payment to Mandee was late once due to a c****e of address which I was never notified about. They harassed me day and night for a payment that was already made and in route via my bank but because of Mandee's address c****e, the payment was a day late.I was so insulted and annoyed by this that I canceled both cards and won't do business with ANY company that uses WFNNB. If they harass you, I suggest you do the same. The accounts are canceled and I will pay them off when billed, but I won't shop at any store that uses the debt w***e, WFNNB.FYI, if any debt collector torments you, you have the right by law to send them a letter similar to this one which is provided on a CNN website:http://clarkhoward.com/topics/drop_dead_letter.html

Third call from WFNNB, they use a different number each time (yes****ay: 614 212 7503 and 913 563 5524). Have no clue why they are calling, we are not behind on any credit cards. The company seems to enjoy harassing folks because when I did answer (the second call), all I got was a synthetic "Hello", and then they ***g up. When I tried to call their HQ at 614 729 4000, I was unable to contact anyone.

This is also Spiegel Catalog's credit #. They will not leave a message and will not answer if you pick up the phone.

Call constantly. Never leave message never say anything when I answer. From previous complaints looks to be from a debt collector but never heard if the company when I google the number.

Call from various 303 area code numbers. I don't answer and they don't leave messages.

Its from WFNNB which for me its Harlem Furniture. They are looking for a past due payment. They call from quite a few different numbers.. some appearing as ADS on the caller ID or as WFNNB. This is linked to any Limited ***nd, Inc. companies and some others not affiliated with them. If you have a credit card from any of these stores and behind on your payment you can bet that's who it is.
