      The caller claims to be a special agent named Eric Hoffman with an unspecified agency in Washington, DC. Has a thick foreign accent. I have received numerous calls from the same phone number from individuals using different names & all having foreign accents. The only thing in common for each of these calls is money transfers through Western Union. They will harass & use intimidation tactics claiming that the person you sent the money to is either a terrorist or a money launderer. The final stage of the scam is that they will transfer you to a person who is supposedly a US attorney in the state of New York. For a fee, this attorney will get your money back and defend you against money laundering charges. However, none of these people provide credentials, nor any documentation proving their identity.
